SPRING – Come listen to the sounds of Spring as everything awakens. Take advantage of “ice-out” fishing for slab crappies or Opening Fishing weekend. Try hiking in one of the area’s two State Parks and smell the wild flowers. You will also witness the Spring migration of the area’s abundant waterfowl along the waterfront.

SUMMER – Bring your suntan lotion and enjoy our safe, sandy beach area which is loaded with all the water toys you and your family can imagine. 

FALL – An explosion of color awaits you following Jack Frost’s annual visit. View one of the area’s most beautiful times of the year and enjoy the peace and quiet for a second honeymoon, or hike through the States Parks nearby. If you’re a hunter, bring your gear along and participate in the area’s bountiful supply of goose, duck, and deer hunting. You won’t want to miss the fantastic fall fishing!

WINTER – This exciting time of year offers so much to do for those who venture out. Try snowmobiling or experience cross-country skiing on some of the finest groomed trails in the state, or ice fishing for trophy panfish.
